Friday, March 23rd from 7-8pm
Come stretch out after the days activities in a cozy, warm and nurturing environment! This all levels class is the perfect compliment to our Yang activities and lifestyle. Most yoga practiced in the US is
considered ‘Yang’ - an active practice focused on exercise & muscular contraction, an obvious balance to sedentary work so that our muscles do not weaken. In Yin Yoga, each floor posture is gently held for 3-5 minutes in order to stretch & rehabilitate the connective tissues of the hips & lower spine. This helps joints to restore & maintain flexibility. Restorative postures & Yin Yoga at the end of the day can help to slow the body & mind down, preparing for rejuvenating sleep & sustained energy levels the next day. Read more about the benefits of Yin & Restorative yoga here. It is best to have finished eating dinner between 5 and 6pm (earlier is better). Taught by Alli.

A practice designed to build strength with flexibility, balance & intention of breath. Vinyasa is a dynamic form of yoga that places special awareness on breath-synchronized movements; sustained poses are threaded together with a single inhale or exhale. Challenge your inner ear while flowing through transitions, employ focused strength & stretching inside each pose, breathe your way into a calm and peaceful mind. The class format is akin to the Corepower Yoga Power Series & is similar to Ashtanga yoga in that the practice is performed in a heated room. The temperature will be set around 90 ° F. Prior experience of yoga is highly recommended. Britny: 720-273-6719 or email.
*Parking can be difficult at this time of day so offer yourself a cushion.
Flowing, breathing, moving meditation to ground the self & replenish your energy. A great bridge for transformation from the workweek to weekend, decompress & recharge. The majority of the practice will follow a dynamic vinyasa style (one breath, one movement) with static or stationary poses for muscle memory & extended benefits. Heat is set to 95 degrees- the increased temperature stimulates circulation, opens the body & simultaneously comforts while challenging the practitioner. Yoga experience is recommended but not required. Britny: 720-273-6719 or email.
Hot Yoga - Intermediate: Britny Sunday 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM
Inspired by Bikram yoga, the format consists of a standard 26-posture sequence, including two breathing exercises. The series is designed to methodically address every part of the body inside & out, top to bottom, skin to bone, all the way to the cellular level. The 90-minute practice is performed in a heated room with the temperature set between 95° F & 100° F. Why the heat? The benefits of a warm room include: softening of the body for increased range of motion and injury prevention; blood vessel dilation, which stimulates blood flow and improves circulation; boosted metabolism, leading to more effective energy use & fat burn; promoted release of impurities from the body; lastly, the heat is another source of challenge that enhances concentration & self control. Inside the warmth you will learn to breathe fully with 100 percent of your lung capacity while cultivating a cocoon of silent stillness, inside of which you can uncover new layers of yourself. Britny: 720-273-6719 or email.
