Alli began exploring yoga in her early teens. She is a Hatha Yoga graduate of Yandara Yoga Institute, and a Kundalini Yoga graduate of Golden Bridge Yoga. van Kleeck, PhD
Anne became a certified Ananda Yoga instructor in 2008, & teaches at the Park Cities Yoga in Dallas as well as substituting at the Yoga Center of Steamboat during the three months of the year she lives in Steamboat. She was first introduced to yoga in the mid-1970s, & began a regular practice eight years ago. Her yoga teacher at the Dallas Yoga Center is an advanced Iyengar instructor. Yoga is an important balance to her position as a professor & researcher in the School of Behavioral & Brain Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she studies children’s language acquisition & their preschool foundations for later literacy development. Beth is a retired licensed psychotherapist who has turned her energies to the study and practice of yoga. Cyd has practiced yoga for eight years, participating in various forms including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anasura, Core Power and Shambhava. Trained at the Shambhava School of Yoga at the Shoshoni Yoga Retreat and Ashram in Nederland, Colorado, Cyd integrates vinyasa, pranayama and meditation into her classes. A lifelong learner by nature, Cyd plans on continuing her education in 2009 with the Shambhava School of Yoga to further develop her skills both in her personal and professional practice. Danielle has been studying and practicing Yoga since 2001. She was introduced to yoga while earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Shortly after graduation, she spent a month at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, where she earned her 200 hour certification. In 2008 Danielle trained with Julie Rader in Los Angeles to earn another 100 your graduate yoga certification. Danielle will finish her 500 hour certification this fall with Julie Rader in Los Angles. She has studied Ashtanga, Anusara, Vinyasa, and Kundalini, and Pregnancy forms of Yoga and enjoys blending the modalities in a class that is focused on building strength, flexibility, and balance, while softening the mind and focusing on the breath. Paula received her Yoga Teaching Certification in 1993 from Desert Song Yoga in Phoenix. She has taught Yoga for 14 years both in Phoenix and at Steamboat Springs Health and Recreation Center. She is also a licensed and certified Massage Therapist practicing for 15 years. Paula´s favorite times for teaching are early morning classes providing long slow stretches and warmups that help students to begin their day with a better mind/body connection. Sandy has a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development and Performance from the University of Oregon. She has been practicing yoga for ten years, exploring Sivananda, Ashtanga and other Hatha yoga practices, and finally finding a home in the Viniyoga tradition. Viniyoga recognizes that each individual has a unique combination of needs and capabilities. Susan has been teaching yoga since 2000 when she completed a Hatha yoga certification by The Yoga Circle (Chris Lee). She is also a certified Master Herbalist (1996, Artemis Institute), has a B.S. degree in Business Administration (1980, University of Nebraska) and is the author of Take Back Your Body. Susan has continued her yoga training by attending many conferences, workshops and classes with a variety of teachers including Rodney Yee, Judith Lasater, Sean Corne, Gary Kraftsow, Angela Farmer and John Friend. She is currently studying Anusara yoga and enjoys offering a stronger practice which is accessible to most people.
