Donation Based Policy
Here at the Yoga Center of Steamboat we believe that yoga should be for everyBODY and anyone regardless of financial burdens. While we have a suggested donation rate of $20 per drop in that helps keep the Center open, we understand that life can happen. When it does, that’s when yoga is most important.
It's simple. When life is tough, pay what you can. When life is good, give and life will provide you back abundantly.
Online drop ins and packages can be bought to secure your mat space in your favorite teacher’s class by preregistering. Any space left on the roster is open for walk in’s starting at $5 on our sliding scale. Those spaces are first come first serve and we do have a limited capacity of 15 mats.
Scholarships are available for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ community reach out by phone, email, messaging for more information.
Every month a portion of proceeds will be donated to a local Non-Profit intended on improving the community of Steamboat and the surrounding nature.
Give where you live
We will be rotating Organizations from month to month with a goal of bringing more awareness of the cause and openness to our community. We are focusing specifically on nature, art, youth, and other groups who's voices are not being heard. Please check out our Non-Profit of the month tab for more information.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The only constant in life is change, and much like the Yampa River that flows outside the studio, we realize life is constantly shifting and in motion as we continue to grow and learn how we can better support those around us. We strive to provide a safe space for people to practice, learn and grow into their true self. Yoga Center of Steamboat is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in all of its forms. We embrace individual uniqueness, respect all life, and engage every individual to help them thrive. We are constantly looking to improve ourselves through knowledge and training. Yoga Center of Steamboat values diversity and celebrates the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, political view, color, race, culture, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
We believe yoga is for everyone, both teachers and students should be treated equally regardless of race, sex, gender identification, sexual orientation, national origin, native language, religion, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law. Every complaint will be appropriately investigated.
