Rachel Thomason  200 RYT

Rachel completed her 200hr YTT at the Yoga Center of Steamboat. Originally signing up to deepen her personal practice, she never imagined how much she would love teaching! Rachel is currently working to finish an additional 300hr teacher training and loves to incorporate her studies into each class. Rachel began her yoga journey in college as a form of stress relief and has since gained insight into the myriad benefits consistent practice can bring. She received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Georgia and has since been gaining clinical and holistic healing experience before further pursuing a medical degree. With a love for both the science of the body and the energetics contained in the human spirit, yoga brings a passion into her life that she hopes to share with anyone who joins on their mat. Her main goal as a teacher is to create a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for anyone looking to experience yoga. Utilizing safe alignment cues and a deep connection to breathwork, her aim is for students to connect their practice beyond the yoga poses and into their daily lives. Rachel is a firm believer that we can all better the world one yoga class at a time.
