We recognize that the Yoga Center of Steamboat sits on the ancestral land of the Ute Tribe Nation. This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Indigenous Ute people. We offer deep respect and gratitude to the elders of this land: past, present and future. Consistent with our values of community and inclusion, we have a responsibility to acknowledge, honor and make visible relationships and representations to Native peoples of Colorado of whose lands were forcibly removed (stolen) and people murdered. Acknowledging this is just the first of many steps of reconciliation and healing.
